Lassen Volcanic National Park, where I grew up, instilled in me a profound appreciation and respect for the mountains, wilderness, and nature. In the tranquil silence of Lassen meadows, my initial creative spark emerged, and it has remained the constant source of my creative inspiration. Each year, I retreat to our family oasis at Highlands Ranch Resort in Lassen's mountain meadows to immerse myself in nature's gifts and embrace her abundance of creative possibilities. It is a privilege to share my vision of the mountains and nature through an artistic medium that has been profoundly inspired by Mount Lassen's inherent beauty and elegance.
Our Story
The inspiration behind the Wilss brand stems from the need for fundamental running essentials engineered for year-round performance: beanies, gloves, and socks. In an effort to enhance my running and cycling performance, I began observing the attire of my fellow enthusiasts. I engaged in multiple conversations with them, seeking their insights on factors such as performance, comfort, and aesthetics. Simultaneously, I aspired to create a product that aligned with my own preferences and requirements.
Over the course of several years, I sourced the finest Merino Wool, designed the products, and conducted extensive field testing with my fellow outdoor enthusiests. The general sentiment was the same after numerous trials and miles.
