Built to Last
Durable, anti-friction and low-pilling, this reliable companion ensures optimal performance during all outdoor adventures.
100% Natural
Merino wool is one of the oldest natural fibers primarily derived from Australian sheep. Their diet consists solely of water, air, sunlight, and grass.
100% Renewable
Annually, Merino sheep regrow their fleece, ensuring that Merino wool remains a perpetually renewable resource.
Hydrophobic
Merino wool is a permeable fiber that naturally wicks moisture away from the body, keeping you dry from sweat and the elements.
100% Biodegradeable
Merino wool undergoes natural decomposition in soil, thereby returning essential nutrients to the ecosystem at the conclusion of its lifespan.
Super Soft
Merino wool is renowned for its exceptional softness and stands out as the finest sheep’s wool globally. Its flexible fiber possesses remarkable adaptability, enabling it to conform seamlessly to the body’s contours, resulting in unparalleled comfort.
Natural Sun Protection
Merino wool fibers exhibit remarkable absorption properties across the entire ultraviolet spectrum, rendering it as a highly effective natural barrier against UV sunlight compared to numerous other materials.
Naturally Odor Resistant
Merino wool's inherent characteristics create a microclimate that inhibits the growth of bacteria that lead to unpleasant odors.  By absorbing moisture and maintaining skin dryness, wool diminishes the body odor generated by sweat and its interaction with body bacteria.

Microns

A micron is a unit of measurement equivalent to one millionth of a meter. In the wool industry, it’s used to measure the diameter of fibers, which directly determines the texture, softness, and quality of wool products. The finer the micron, the softer the wool feels. Conversely, broader fibers are stronger and more durable. Based on micron measurements, wool can be categorized into three main groups: Fine, Medium, and Broad.

Fine Micron Range (17.5 – 22.5)

The finest micron wool is typically sourced from Merino sheep. This wool is used in luxurious, high-quality fabrics and fine yarns due to its exceptional softness.

Medium Micron Range (22.6 – 29.5)

Produced by certain Merino breeds or crossbreeding.Commonly used in a diverse range of woven apparel, knitting yarns, and furnishings.

Broad Micron Range (29.5 & above)

Derived from various robust sheep breeds known for durable wool. Ideal for rugs, carpets, and other heavy-duty wool products due to its strength.

Merino Wool Facts

Under a microscope, a single wool fiber appears similar to fish scales.
When these scales become abraded or agitated, they lift and create an uneven texture, sometimes causing itchiness. However, extra-fine Merino wool is bred for smooth, delicate fibers, minimizing irritation and making it comfortable for next-to-skin wear.
Merino wool, at under 22 microns, is significantly finer — explaining its remarkable softness.

Washing and Care

Due to Merino Wool being an antimicrobial textile, it does not allow bacteria to thrive and create odor. We suggest you wear longer and launder less.
